I have the same configuration (instantClient 10.2.0.1 and DBI), but... when compile DBD i have the error: The ORACLE_HOME environment variable value (/opt/app/oracle/instantclient_10_2) is not valid. In the .profile i have ORACLE_HOME=/opt/app/oracle/instantclient_10_2. I don't understand this error. What's your oracle_home???
