Have been trying to get my POD just right so that pod2html won't wreck it.

Too many things from POD don't get implemented. One would think, for instance that "=begin text" and "=end text" would generate PRE tags in the HTML. But they but do not. And the "C<<<" and ">>>" do not work to get me past having to embed a lot of hideous C<fooE<gt>bar> notations.

It is very tiresome playing try-and-fail. If anybody in the know could post some clues, that would be very much appreciated.
