Trying to install DBD-mysql on an AIX machine and keep getting errors. Some comments I have run across seem to suggest that mySQL needs to be installed on the same machine as DBD-mysql.
This isn't true on my windows installation so I just need to confirm if this is true in the *ix world.
so.......
In the *ix world does mySQL need to be installed on the same machine as the DBD-mysql module?
