Hi Eddie,

With the -r option, exiftool will reach down multiple levels of directories for each directory name that it is given. In your command, the FILE is "*.jpg", so it has no directories to work from. Instead, use "-ext jpg DIR" where DIR is the top level directory containing the images.

The drag and drop problem is a Windows limitation, and I can't do anything about this. If you can drag and drop folders instead of individual images, then you may be able to get around this limitation.
