Yes. The Adobe DNG utility doesn't properly handle the makernotes of some cameras. This is worst for Olympus. In the case of Minolta, it would appear that the Minolta PreviewImage pointer is invalid in the DNG image. But most makernote errors are minor, so they can be ignored with the -m option.
