SpreadSheet Version compatible with both Excel 95 & 2003

Hi I am facing a problem with Spreadsheet-WriteExcel v 2.16 ,it is working fine on office 2003 but it is not working on Excel 95, so i want to know that is there any SpreadSheet::WriteExcel version available that is compatible with all Excel versions and also works fine with the forthcoming versions.Help me out on the same...
