photoshop problem
Dear Phil and friends, I am having a problem after modifying the iptc data manually. When I say manually, I mean using java to change the user object byte array. the photoshop error dialog box I get is as follows "This file may be damaged (the file may be truncated or incomplete) Continue? after I hit o.k it prompts the same message again and after I hit o.k. it displays the image. The exiftool reads the file and my digital asset management system reads the file correctly but Photoshop version 7.0 and 9.01 do not. I have taken the original file and changed the caption to say "what the heck!". Any insight on this will be much appreciated. the file called test.jpeg is posted here for 7 days. http://download.yousendit.com/09E992EA02FF19FA Regards, Vik

Re: photoshop problem
There is a single null byte at the end of the Photoshop IRB record in APP13 that shouldn't be there. I think this byte is causing the warning message in Photoshop.
