Which field would you recommend to use for the postal code, where the picture was taken. CreatorContactInfoCiAdrPcode I don't mean.

Since you didn't specify an information format, I suggest MIE:PostalCode. :)

But assuming you want XMP, you could try the XMP-iptcCore:Location tag.
