I can tell you that exiftool is not the cause of this problem. On
OS X, installing exiftool does not install any executable code --
it uses the existing Perl executable on your system. So you
have some other problem, probably a corrupted disk.
But to remove exiftool, type "open /bin" in a Terminal window, then
from in the "bin" folder, drag "exiftool" and the "lib" folder to
your trash and empty the trash.
